For Internet backup, Archive Expert uses IBM Tivoli® Continuous Data Protection (CDP) for Files. CDP is a real-time, continuous, data protection solution that is specifically designed to work well with you even if you are intermittently connected to an internet connection.

CDP can back-up your most important files the moment they change (real time) instead of waiting for a scheduled interval. By simply saving your documents to a local directory, CDP will make an automatic copy locally, as well as send a copy of the document over the internet to an Archive Expert server, where it is protected by mirrored disks. This allows you to get a copy of your document to an off site location in real time.
